Supporting Your Journey.
Teaching is, and has always been, a true passion of mine. I take great pride in helping students of all ages and abilities achieve their individual goals and aspirations.
My teaching approach is centred around creating a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel comfortable to make mistakes, grow in confidence, and truly thrive in their playing. Read on to find out more about how I teach.
Student Goals.

Your goals are at the heart of every lesson. Whether you have a clear vision of what you want to achieve or you’re still figuring it out, I’m here to guide you. Together, we can explore your interests, break down ideas, and set realistic, meaningful goals that suit you.
Having clear goals is an important part of making progress and achieving success, and I’ll work with you every step of the way—no matter how big or small those goals may be.
Attention to Detail.

I place a strong emphasis on detail in my teaching, breaking your practice down into smaller, manageable sections. This approach helps make practice more focused and less overwhelming, allowing you to see progress more quickly and clearly.
The benefit of this is that we can explore each section in depth, working out the best way for you to approach it—so your practice becomes more effective, personal, and rewarding.
Customised Lessons.

Finally, I believe that learning should be enjoyable and inspiring. Lessons are always tailored to you—your interests, your pace, and the way you learn best. Each lesson is designed to challenge you just enough to grow, while keeping the experience positive and encouraging.
By incorporating music you enjoy and approaches that suit you, I aim to keep lessons engaging, motivating, and something you genuinely look forward to each week.
